Forbes’ 2024 ranking of the best large employers in the US has tapped Carnival Corporation among its list of 600 honored companies. Carnival, which has 75,000 US-based employees, was ranked 191st on the overall list, 8th among travel and leisure companies and 1st among cruise companies.

At our Mahogany Bay port, we were honored to receive the “Bandera Azul Ecologicade Honduras” (i.e., Honduras 5-star Ecological Blue Flag) award by the Honduras Ministry of Tourism. This award was presented in the beach category for our implementation of best environmental management practices and climate change mitigation and adaptation for 2022-2023.

Carnival Cruise Line was recognized as one of the 25 “Best Companies for Latinos to Work in 2023”by Latino Leaders Magazine.

The list of top U.S. companies for Latinos has been selected by the magazine’s editors based on inclusivity-focused criteria, including external outreach and recruitment initiatives; career opportunities; internal support programs to promote and retain Latino team members; leadership development efforts; diversity representation in the boardroom and C-Suite; percentage of Hispanic employees; and community service.

Carnival Corporation & plc was named to the first annual listing of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2023 by Newsweek. The listing recognizes the best workplaces in the U.S. for their operations, commitment to diversity, and success in cultivating an inclusive working environment. Of the 1,000 top-performing companies included on the list of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Carnival Corporation was the only cruise company to earn five stars, the highest possible score.

For the third consecutive year, Carnival Corporation & plc was named as one of the World’s Top Companies for Women for 2023 by Forbes, a leading source of business news worldwide. Carnival Corporation was the only cruise company recognized on the list of the top 400 companies that are dedicated to advancing women in the workplace.

The World’s Top Companies for Women were determined through an independent survey of approximately 70,000 women working for global companies across 37 countries. Respondents were asked whether they would recommend their employer to friends and family, and to anonymously rate their workplaces on both general workplace practices and gender-specific issues, such as gender pay equity and opportunities for advancement.

Carnival Cruise Line has been named to the inaugural list of America’s Best Brands for Social Impact by Forbes and recognized for its overall trustworthiness and values, social stances, sustainability and community support.

Produced in partnership with the data analytics company HundredX, the Forbes list derives from a survey of more than 100,000 consumers. It ranks the 300 brands respondents’ rate most highly in four categories: overall brand values and trust, social stances, sustainability and community support. Close to four million ratings were gathered across more than 2,000 unique brands.
